One of the first things a college student at Drexel needs to do is to open a bank account to ensure a smooth flow of financial resources. Most banks do not require a social security number or an application fee for a new account. All they require is a government issued photo ID (possibly your passport) and the funds you want to deposit. There are different types of accounts with different facilities and spending limits depending on your host bank. Some of the main banks in the University city are:
