KHANA KHAZANA!

When you are away from home, the first thing that you really miss is the food. There are various eateries around Drexel University that serve some really good Indian food.

1. Karma - It is perhaps the most notable Indian restaurant in Philly and though it is quite some distance away from campus, it is certainly the most exquisite destination for Indian Food.

2. Cafe Spice - Close on the heels of Karma, it is known more for its awesome weekend parties rather than its good food. Though there is a certain section of people who love its food.

3. Sitar India - Probably the closest indian restaurant on campus. Though the decor and ambience is not as classy as Karma, the quality of food on the A-la-carte menu is pretty good. The Buffet tends to get monotonous but still is not too bad.

4. Tandoor India - Located in University City, it is also very close to campus though it has been in controversy for a lot of reasons including disputed ownership and kerosene in their soda machines. Yet, many students still long for its Tandoori Chicken, one of the best available.

5. New Delhi - It is locateda block away from Tandoor. It is often frequented by the local population and a lot of students complain about the Americanized Indian food available here. Not the most popular but certainly an option.

6 . Kebobish - Many call it the meat eater's paradise. The variety of kebabs and ramzan food is mind-blowing and it has some of the best Haleem and Nehari ever available in the city. However, absolutely no options for vegetarians and hence a lot of students stay away from it.

All these restaurants have their own websites and their numbers available on campusfoods.

Syrian Cart, behind Bossone - This is one of most unexplored eating options amongst undergraduates on campus. The last cart behind Bossone serves some good Indian food including biryani on occasional weekends. It is a very cheap option and a perfect for most broke college students. It is run by a Syrian couple and has no particular name as such.
